Ride-On Floor Sweeping & Scrubbing Melbourne

Warehouse slabs collect pallet dust and forklift tyre rubber. Car parks fill with grit, oil drips and litter. A broom just moves it around.

GFC Property Services runs industrial ride-on sweepers and scrubbers on warehouse, factory and car park floors across Melbourne metro. We lift the debris, scrub out what’s ground into the concrete, and vacuum the dirty water straight back up — so the floor is ready for traffic within minutes.

Sweeping or Scrubbing? Most Sites Need Both

Ride-On Sweeping

Rotating brooms sweep loose debris into a hopper while a filtered vacuum captures the dust instead of throwing it into the air. Handles gravel, sand, dirt, leaves and small general rubbish. Ideal for car parks, loading docks, yards and hardstands.

Ride-On Scrubbing

Water and solution are driven into the surface by rotating brushes, then recovered through a rear squeegee. This removes what sweeping can't: forklift tyre marks, oil film, grease, spilled product and traffic film. A mop spreads dirty water around. A scrubber takes it away.

We sweep first, then scrub. Sweeping alone leaves stains. Scrubbing alone pushes rubbish around and gives a patchy result.

Where We Use It

Distribution centres, warehouses, factories, multi-level and basement car parks, shopping centres, apartment complexes and owners’ corporations, schools and council facilities, and food and cold storage sites.

Why It Matters

How We Work

We assess the site, confirm surface type and access, and give you a written scope and price — not a vague hourly estimate. The work can be done during normal hours, after hours, or on weekends so we’re not competing with your forklifts. Edges, corners and tight racking aisles can be reached by pressure washer or petrol blower, whichever is most suitable for the conditions.

One-off deep cleans for end-of-lease, make-good, pre-audit or neglected slabs.

Periodic or scheduled programs — weekly, monthly or quarterly, biannually or annually — to hold your facility or premises to the standard you require.

FAQs

How often should a carpark or warehouse floor be swept and scrubbed?

High-throughput distribution centres often need it weekly or nightly. Lower-traffic storage warehouses are usually fine monthly or quarterly. Carparks can usually be done biannually or annually. We’ll recommend a frequency after seeing the site.

Usually not. Most work is after hours or on weekends. During operating hours, we can work in sections with signage and traffic management if required.
Minutes. The scrubber vacuums the water up as it goes.
Yes. We plan around ramp gradients, height clearance and bay access, and finish anything the machine can’t reach with a blower or with pressure cleaning.
No — we identify the floor type first and select the right pad, brush and chemical.
It depends mainly on floor area and how often it’s done, plus how heavy the build-up is, whether the floor needs sweeping, scrubbing or both, access around racking and traffic, and working hours. We assess the site and give you a written scope and fixed price. Regular programs cost less per clean than occasional deep cleans, because the floor never gets as bad.
